Hermia is a contemporary bridal store located in Whittle-le-Woods, Chorley. Offering a considered assortment of modern gowns, the boutique’s ethos is anchored in the art of empowering modern brides through joyous styling. Each designer has been selected for their aligning sentiments, commitment to craftsmanship and unparalleled design.

Hermia lends her name from a character from Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Hermia famously defied patriarchal order by not marrying the man society intended, but marrying for love. Considered a love letter to the inspiring women who have paved the way for me, the store is not only an ode to love but also to my mum. Just like her and our brides to come, Hermia is fierce, fearless and free.

When dreaming up what I wanted our store to look like, I envisioned a space that promoted authenticity and was underpinned by uncomplicated joy. Here we are committed to championing you. We prioritise personalisation, celebrate self-expression and uplift in everything we do.
