FAQ
QUESTION:
HOW DO APPOINTMENTS WORK?
ANSWER:
Using our online booking system, you will be able to select your desired date and time. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be required to complete an automated questionnaire from us at the store. This is our way of getting to know you a little better before you come in. If you have any questions, you can contact us via email at enquiries@hermiabridal.com.
QUESTION:
WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING FOR MY WEDDING DRESS?
ANSWER:
It’s really important that you allow enough time to find your dress. This in mind, we recommend that you start your search 12 to 10 months before your wedding date. This allows plenty of time for you to find your dress, for it to arrive and for alterations. With us, you’d ideally want to be looking at placing your order at 8 months before your wedding date at the latest. It’s good to bear in mind that all of our gowns are made to order and can take 5-6 months to be crafted. We like to allow at least 2 months for alterations.
QUESTION:
WHAT’S YOUR PRICE RANGE & What sample sizes do you stock?
ANSWER:
Our curated collection of dresses and separates fall between the range of £1700-£4000. Our samples generally fall between UK sizes 10-14.
QUESTION:
DO YOU STOCK ACCESSORIES?
ANSWER:
We have a hand-picked assortment of accessories and veils that have been specifically chosen with our gown collection in mind. All of our veils come from either Sash + Veil or Ofrenda. We also have a collection of designer accessories, as well as a capsule of pieces from cult label Shrimps.
QUESTION:
DO YOU OFFER IN-HOUSE ALTERATIONS?
ANSWER:
We do not, but we’ve pooled a list of highly recommended seamstresses which we will share with you if you place an order with us. Giving you the autonomy to choose a seamstress you trust is very important to us, as is lifting up and celebrating the craft/business of independent seamstresses.
QUESTION:
I’VE ORDERED MY DRESS, WHAT’S NEXT?
ANSWER:
We will get in touch with you once your gown has shipped and when it has arrived with us in store. We will then arrange a suitable time for you to come and try your gown on and collect.
To ensure your dress fits like a dream, the final fitting stages will take place between yourself and your chosen seamstress. If you’d like us to get in touch with them with more information about your design, we are more than happy to do so.
